Success in Campodarsego as the 2026 1000 Miglia passes through – The most beautiful race in the world: Zanon takes centre stage as a local sponsor

CAMPODARSEGO – There was a huge turnout on Tuesday 9 June for the passage of the 1000 Miglia through Campodarsego, one of the most eagerly awaited stages of the historic international motor event dedicated to classic cars. Hundreds of enthusiasts, families and onlookers lined Via Roma to welcome the passing of crews from all over the world, admiring some of the most iconic cars in motoring history up close.

Among the key players at the event was Zanon, a company based in Campodarsego and a local sponsor of the event. Founded over sixty years ago, the company is now a leading name in the design and manufacture of professional equipment for agriculture, landscaping and forestry, with a well-established presence on international markets. Participation in the 1000 Miglia is further confirmation of the strong bond the company maintains with the local area and with initiatives that promote its identity.
The Zanon family also took part in the event, driving a section of the route in their own Ferrari tribute cars, sharing their passion for classic motoring with the public and helping to make the passage of what is now commonly referred to as ‘The most beautiful race in the world’ even more special.
The stamp check at Campodarsego was particularly well received; this traditional feature of the historic car regularity race allowed those present a close-up experience of the 450 competing cars. From 6.30 pm, the town centre came alive as the cars passed along Via Roma, transforming it into a meeting point for visitors.
The evening then continued in Piazza Europa, which had been transformed for the occasion into an elegant open-air venue that welcomed local residents, guests and enthusiasts. Following the welcome reception and aperitif, guests enjoyed a fine dinner organised in the heart of the city, in an atmospheric setting. Rounding off the programme were areas dedicated to family entertainment, featuring activities and inflatables for the little ones, which helped to make the event a real celebration for the whole community.

The initiative provided a significant opportunity to promote Campodarsego and the entire Padua region, thanks to the international exposure generated by the 1000 Miglia, an event that successfully combined sport, history, culture and tourism, involving institutions, businesses and local residents.

Through its support for the event, Zanon reaffirms its commitment to promoting local excellence and contributing to the organisation of events that bring prestige and visibility to the area, and takes this opportunity to thank Mayor Walter Gallo, the Municipal Council of Campodarsego, the President of ACI Padova Nicola Salvà Borotto, the Carabinieri and Police, the local associations, the Civil Protection Agency and the volunteers who made this extraordinary event possible.
